In-depth study on the Foundation Program
The Foundation Program is a study program for those people who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddhism by engaging in the systematic study of essential Buddhist text.
The Foundation Program meets at Vajrarupini Center for two classes on Sunday evenings. The classes meet Sundays at 4pm to 6pm and at 6:45pm to 8:30pm with a dinner break in between classes.
Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life is a profound and practical guide to living a meaningful way of life devoted to the service of others. It is a classic Buddhist poem from the eighth-century that describes the way of life of a Bodhisattva, a person who has devoted themselves to realizing their full potential to benefit others. We will be studying this book together with the commentary Meaningful to Behold, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
