US Kadampa Festival April 23-28, 2009

The US Kadampa Festival is held every year with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab at the World Peace Temple at Kadampa Meditation Center New York.

The 2009 US Festival will be held from April 23-28. 

Welcome to the 09 US Kadampa Buddhist Festival. This joyful event is the largest annual gathering of Kadampa Buddhists in North America. It provides an opportunity to relax and enjoy a very meaningful spiritual vacation – receiving Buddha’s personal advice to improve our lives, meditating on transformative teachings, and spending time with like-minded friends in the tranquil and very blessed atmosphere of the US Kadampa World Peace Temple.

This year, please join us to receive the special blessings of Buddha Shakyamuni. The empowerment ceremony and the teachings that follow are accompanied by guided meditations, and the opportunity to engage in two days of retreat to deepen our understanding and experience of what we have learned. Everyone, whether new to Buddhism or an experienced practitioner, is welcome. Beginners will learn practical methods to solve life’s problems through Buddhist view and practice, while students of many years will be further inspired on their spiritual path.
