Gathers for End-Of-Year Dinners
Members and friends of our Vajrarupini Buddhist Center gathered
for both a Christmas Eve dinner on December 24th and a potluck dinner
on the last evening of 2009.
The December 24th dinner was provided
by the center, ably led by Louise who is developing quite a reputation
for excellent meals at our regular Sunday Brunches.
Delicious food set the stage to facilitate conversation between
friends and help people get to know others they had either not yet met
or had only seen briefly.
Among the participants were Joan, Deshe's mom, and Ken (left)
and Deshe and Aaron shown on the right.
After the Christmas eve dinner everyone gathered in the gompa
for a group photo.

Following the New Year's Eve dinner was a
Tara Puja. (Puja is defined on the Kadampa Buddhism site as: A ceremony in which offerings and other acts
of devotion are performed in front of holy beings.)
Events like these and others are shown on
our Events Calendar.
